District Data Coordinators

About This Service

Support for District Data Coordinators are designed to facilitate compliance with state data reporting mandates. We recognize the complexity inherent in managing the extensive volume of required data. We are here to assist District Data Coordinators (DDCs) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

To support our DDCs, monthly meetings are held at the Instructional Support Center in Holtsville and are accessible virtually, allowing for broad participation. These meetings are structured to address imminent deadlines, discuss new state requirements, and disseminate best practices for the accurate loading and verification of student and staff data. All of the materials presented at these meetings are available here.

Additionally, DDCs are kept informed through timely reminders disseminated via the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Regents list-servs, alongside updated announcements and state deadlines, which are consistently posted on this platform. 

Throughout the academic year, specialized workshops are conducted to enhance the proficiency of DDCs in data quality control measures.
