2017-18 SIRS Manual Now Available (Published On: 10/23/2017)

The 2017-18 SIRS Manual 13.0 is available at http://www.p12.nysed.gov/irs/sirs/.  


Staff Evaluation Deadline Extended (Published On: 10/19/2017)

The staff evaluation data submission deadline has been extended to November 2nd at noon to accept data from LEAs that are not able to complete their submission by October 27. Additionally, the 2016-17 Statement of Confirmation of Staff Evaluation Verification form will be due on November 17, 2017 instead of November 3.


BEDS Online IMF Information (Published On: 10/11/2017)
Beginning this year, schools will submit BEDS Online data using the IRS Data Exchange (IDEx) application, available via the NYSED Business Portal at http://portal.nysed.gov

Printable versions of the BEDS Online forms, as well as instructions for fall 2017 can be found at: http://www.p12.nysed.gov/irs/beds/. Additionally, helpful articles, Frequently Asked Questions, and information to guide you through the new application are located at the BEDS IMF Help Center at https://bedsvadirsupport.nysed.gov. BEDS Online forms should be completed and submitted to SED by Friday, November 17, 2017.


Online Ordering System for 3-8 ELA/Math Exams Now Open (Published On: 10/05/2017)

School Principals may now log into http://portal.nysed.gov/ and order 2018 Grades 3-8 ELA and Math Exams. The system will close to ordering on December 15, 2017. Information pertaining to these tests is also available on the Department's website at http://www.p12.nysed.gov/assessment/ei/eigen.html  


Registering for Student Data Services Events (Published On: 06/03/2017)
Student Data Services is transitioning its event registration process to utilize Frontline Professional Learning (formerly My Learning Plan - MLP) WebReg feature for events scheduled after June 30 2017.  Attendees will not longer use a DataCentral account to register for events.  Please click on this link for detailed directions for this new registration process

New APPR Plan Portal Now Available (Published On: 04/01/2016)
SED has completed its work to update the APPR portal to allow for the entry of all measures required by the APPR transition regulations.  The updated APPR portal has been moved from the Review Room platform to the New York State Education Department’s Business Portal, the same location where districts/BOCES submit their APPR Implementation Certification form.
